What's New: February 22nd, 2009:
There will be a St. Joe Wrestling Boosters Board Meeting this coming Wednesday Feb 25th at 7:00pm in Coach Radenbaugh's room at SJHS.
Congratulations to all those wrestlers who participated in Saturday's MHSAA Individual District competition at Portage Northern (Sat Feb 21st). St. Joe Bear wrestlers that placed in the top 4 places and advanced to regional competition include:
Jamaal Jackson - 1st place in 189 lb weight class.
Will Flaherty - 2nd place in 289 lb weight class.
Steve Imbordino - 3rd place in 145 lb weight class.
Ryan Vitale - 4th place in 135 lb weight class.

What's New: Jan 15th, 2009:
Posted Neil's scorecard from last night's Lakeshore meet (at LHS). Also setup new menu called: Berrien County Invite. This contains a copy of the 2009 Berrien County Invitational program. The wrestling invitational was hosted at the St. Joseph High School Fieldhouse this past weekend Jan 9-10th. Also included was a copy of a partially completed weight bracket chart showing which wrestlers competed.
This was St. Joe's 30th Anniversary hosting this event !!
We've abandoned the idea of trying to secure all of our wrestling videos to YouTube.com due to the amount of time and effort involved. We will continue to upload and post the videos we have to YouTube but they will be publically available. They can be searched using the keywords: SJHS Wrestling YYYY-MM-DD (where yyyy-mm-dd this is the date of the event). We have almost 250 videos already online. Any parent not wishing to have their athlete's video online can notify us and we'll remove specific video's at the request of a parent (or the school).

Updated the Vitale Scorecard page with team results and posted scorecards for the 12-20-2008 Plainwell Quad meet and 2009-01-03 SMAC tournament.
In process of uploading an additional 51 videos to youtube.com from the SMAC meet. Since the batch process of uploading so many video's takes several days, please check youtube.com periodically for updates. We have changed our procedures and are now only making these video's available to a specific youtube.com login. They are no longer available to the world. Check the Parent/Athlete section of this site for more details. We have another 33 video's from the Plainwell meet that will be uploaded shortly.

NOTICE: Parents there will be NO HOT FOOD for either meet this coming Saturday and parents on the varsity food schedule are to bring a pasta dish instead.
Added new menu for "Vitale's Scorecards" and posted the results of the Watervliet-South Haven meets. This year we are simply scanning Neil's Scorecard and posting them as is. This is a huge time saver as far as web site up keep goes. Thanks Neil !! [ LINK ]

What's New: Dec 7, 2008:
This past week the Boosters Club purchased a new Sony HandyCAM digital video camera recorder for the St. Joe Wrestling team. The new palm-size recorder has a 30GB hard drive for hours of video storage and can easily connect to any computer using a USB connection for easy transfer of .MPG formatted video files. Visitors can expect to see much more video published to the web site this season as a result of this investment !!
The St. Joe JV team travelled to Coloma this past Saturday Dec 6th for all day invitational. There were many outstanding matches throughout the day and many place winners. We have 55 video clips of the days event now posted to YouTube.com for your viewing. Go to www.youtube.com and use the search phrase: "SJHS Wrestling" to find these videos online. Note: some video clips contain multiple wrestlers.
Added a NEW JV Food Table Schedule to the Parent/Athlete section of the site.

Changed our primary email distribution list on the web site to: boostersboard@stjoewrestling.com
The plan is then to update the old email list to contain a list of everyone: wrestlers, parents, fans, alumni, etc... This list will be called: boosters@stjoewrestling.com This naming change is more intuitive and should help avoid any confusion going forward. THIS IS NOT IN PLACE YET, SO DON'T USE THIS ADDRESS YET. I'll let everyone know when the list is built. We need the roster first.
Web Site Security:
Boosters Club Board section is restricted to board members only and contains meeting minutes,financials, etc..
Parents-Athletes section is restricted to only parents and athletes and contains material, handouts, paperwork from the Coaches, School or Booster Club.
The rest of the web site is open to the public.
